Pressed Flower Gallery

Meet some of our Pressed Flower Artists.

Kay Kei

"I graduated in the Design School of HK Polytechnic University, and worked as a creative director for a couple years. Later, I was involved in several environmental art projects as an artist, but most of my life worked as an art teacher for kids and teenagers. 10 years ago, I started to learn the pressed-flowers art; I enjoy so much in the making process. Now, I'm a certified pressed-flower art teacher, and I would like to share my experience with you, and guide you through this joyful and wonderful art."  See more of Kay's art at Kay's Garden, or visit her on facebook

"Pressed Flower Art is a charming art form. From the first encounter which brings us together and we have been deeply attracted to it. Every step and detail from the flowers picking and handling the plants requires a lot of patient, and this process calls a dialogue between people and the nature. Through the works, I hope you can feel the heart of flowers, soul of plants, and the beauty of the nature. "

Ellie Roden

Ellie's work features flowers of southern Vermont delicately arranged into unique designs. Available as cards, prints, bookmarks and framed originals.
Ellie uses only real flowers and plant materials in her original pressed flower art. The flowers featured in her artwork come from her own garden, from the woodlands and roadsides of Vermont and from the gardens of generous neighbors.

Kate Chu

“Nature provides inspiration as well as materials for my art. I love pressed flower art because it preserves the best from the nature and it allows me to freely express my feelings toward love, life, and world. Pressed flower art preserves memories in life and brings peace and calm in my life. I think this peaceful and loving feeling reflects in my art. My art is about my hometown, places I travel, my fantasies, and of course my flowers.”
