Max 9” Press
This press measures 9 x 9” and has 81 square inches of pressing space. It is our number one best seller.It is used by commercial artists and home pressing enthusiasts as their basic everyday press. It consists of two vented plastic platens, two wool pads, two cotton liners and 4 clips. A complete instruction manual is included. Normally, it is shipped with the English version to English speaking countries but is available in many other languages, as well, and the manuals will be tailored to your needs. PDFs of manuals of many languages are also available free from our website.
The large pressing area makes it possible to press more at a time and larger specimens such as ferns and botanicals. Most microwaves will accommodate two of these and two presses may be clipped together for even larger specimens. The clips normally between the two presses are used to clip the outsideedges together where the seam between the two presses will be.
Avid pressers use several of these presses at a time filling one while the others are being processed or are “resting” between bursts of being microwaves. Processing flowers depends on the type of flowers or leaves/stems and the power of the microwave. A sample pressing tome would be 25 seconds, 20 seconds and then 15 seconds with a bit of time in between to let steam escape from the vents.
Microwave pressing allows for quick availability of materials and will result in more vivid colors than traditional pressing methods. Demonstrations using the Max press will result in easy press sales and will draw attention to other supplies and finished works the presser wishes to sell.
Max presses are normally packed 13 to a carton in a 13” square carton. Other carton sizes contain 20 (available for international shipping) and 32 presses (normally USA only due to shipping size restrictions). Each press has a shipping weigh of just over
2 pounds. A carton of 13 will weigh 28 pounds. (See regular press description for more shipping details).

Regular 5” Press
The 5” Regular press is often include in class fees with an option to upgrade to the Max press. It is a smaller version which is great for beginning pressers, children, hikers and travelers. See the Max description for other information. It functions the same as the Max press and comes with two clips rather than 4.
Regular presses are packed 36 to a 13” carton. 20 x 8 or 12”cartons will hold 45 or 72 presses or a combination of Regular and Max presses. A 13” carton will hold 8 Regular and 11 Max presses and the 20” cartons will hold either 5 or 8 layers of presses with 9 to a layer for Regular presses and 4 to a layer of Max presses. Max Refill Pack
This is a replacement felt pad and liner set for the 9” press. It sells very well. Although, a set will normally last for many hundreds of cycles with proper use, sometime pressers will scorch their pads by, for example, entering 2 minutes rather than 20 seconds on their microwaves and will need replacements. They can also be used as secondary sets for pressers who have only one press…changed between cycles, although keeping flowers in the press until completely dry will generally give
the best results.

Regular Refill Pack
This is the replacement set for the 5” Regular press. Although, a set will normally last for many hundreds of cycles with proper use, sometime pressers will scorch their pads by, for example, entering 2 minutes rather than 20 seconds on their microwaves and will need replacements. This pack contains 10 pieces (5 sets). The liners are 9” square and are precut with pinked edges for ease of use. Liners will become stained with use and it is very handy to have extras to use between washing.They are made of 100% cotton lawn.

Project Book
This soft cover project book, Presses Flower Projects was written by Jennie Beecroft, the inventor of the Microfleur Flower presses. It is packed with 30 pages of ideas and instructions along with photographs for completing various types of projects. Although the manuals included with the presses include many good tips on pressing flowers and foliage, the project book goes farther giving additional tips on color retention, storage, suitable flowers and proper tools. Projects including making cards, applying flowers
and leaves to candles and soaps, wrapping paper design, applying to trays, making coasters and works of art are included. At a low per book cost this can be a profitable addition to your press line.

Tweezers
These nylon tweezers are invaluable for pressed flower projects and other craft projects where a delicate touch is desirable. They measure 6” and are very durable
and easily cleanable. Nylon is easier on fragile flowers and these tweezers will easily and safely place pressed flowers and foliage exactly where they are needed.

Replacement Clips
Clips are sold in multiples of two. (Regular presses require 2 and Max presses 3.) With long term use of presses clips may eventually loosen or even break. Customers occasionally lose them and are pleased to find inexpensive replacements.
